The Tennessee Titans are amongst the shuffle in management this offseason, announcing earlier this week that Chief Operating Officer Mike Reinfeldt will be fired. Head Coach Mike Munchak will be sticking around however, as owner Bud Adams feels he is right for the job.
Adams now wants to focus on putting the right people in place around Munchak to allow him propel the team towards success. Through free agency, and with the eighth overall pick the the 2013 NFL Draft, the Titans will need to bring in some play makers that help spark a winning mentality in Tennessee.
Reinfeldt was the senior executive vice president for the Titans who played a strong role in the franchise as the chief of personnel and served as the General Manager from 2007 until 2012. Current GM Ruston Webster will step into his position temporarily.
Mike Munchak has had tremendous support from Adams since he was hired two years ago, and with Adams at the age of 90, he doesn't have time to keep making changes. He's putting his faith in Munchak that he can turn around the franchise. He is just 15-17 in his two seasons with the Titans and has missed the playoffs both years.
